"My Off Switch" Omori Women’s Weekend Escape

Part 1 of ‘My Off Switch’ is delivered in person over the course of the weekend. You’ll learn how to make mindfulness an essential part of your daily routine without needing to meditate for hours or run off to join a monastery!

Part 2 is delivered to the group one evening a week for the following 7 weeks (Wednesdays 7.30pm – 8.30pm) virtual sessions using Zoom, so you can connect from wherever you are! And if you miss a session each recording is available for 2 weeks.

Included is:

  • An entire weekend away (fully catered) at the fabulous Omori Lodge retreat – hidden among 24 acres of a native New Zealand bush, rolling hills with panoramic views of Lake Taupo and surrounding country. 

  • An individualised plan to focus on what’s important to you personally and professionally, with the help of an experienced coach and mindfulness trainer by Kerene Strochnetter (Managing Director Mindful at Work Ltd.)

  • A selection of mindfulness activities (including daily yoga, guided relaxations and walks) where you can choose to move your body and make the most of the beautiful scenery.

  • A personalised Yoga sequence developed by registered yoga teacher Shirley McLeod from Yoga With Me

  • A series of specially designed yoga videos (based on the Yoga Deck) to continue your practice after the weekend

  • A Yoga With Me Yoga Deck – a set of 41 instructional yoga pose cards and 16 sample yoga sequences, so even if you’ve never done yoga before you’ll have some easy to follow visual prompts to take home to continue with your practice.

  • PLUS you’ll receive the Mindful at Work Workbook (hard copy) and the Mindful at Work App housing guided meditations and coursework reminders so everything is at your fingertips.

We’ll play with blocks to accentuate muscular activation, and to find shapes you might not have played with before. Bring a sense of fun and adventure, and be willing to learn some new ways of thinking about asana.
Regular class pricing. Max 40 students so everyone can have two blocks each.

Whakatane yoga weekend with Shirley, Amy and Kylie

Join us for another weekend of OMazing yoga classes and workshops in Whakatane.

The team at Mind Body Movement have joined forces with Kylie Rook (Yoga with Kylie, Auckland) and Shirley McLeod (Yoga With Me, Wellington) again to bring you this yogi weekend immersion in Whakatane, with all new sessions! 

We have an awesome line-up for you, ranging from funky Hip Hop Yoga to a restful and relaxing Yoga Nidra. 
The workshops are suitable for both men and women and have been designed for those who are looking to deepen their practice, try something new and have an epic time with like-minded yogi's.

The Workshop Weekend 2018 will give you something different from your normal routine and allow you to recharge your batteries in the sunny Bay of Plenty.

Spaces in each workshop are strictly limited, so make sure you book your space early to secure your spot. We have designed the weekend to be a fun, holistic and well-rounded experience, so we hope you can join us for the whole thing!
